December's Roses

God gave us memories that we might have roses in December---James M. Barrie

I'm a native of Northern China, My parents both were teachers. I came to Unites States with my husband when I was 26 .
In those days, I was nervous in new circumstance. I have  to learn how to swim in this uncertain sea.
 I could not bring myself to use words to communicate with others. To learn English  became first project in my routine. Without money I could not study at school, but Local public library become my  paradise.

My first artistic instruction came from Vincent Van Gogh 's letters . To study his pen drawing became a particularly happy time in 1999 and to press flowers between the book also became my hobby.
